Do you want to build a snowman … just when you thought you had gotten that song out of your head along comes the beast
Wow, what a week we have had!
I hope you are all safe and well following the visit from The Beast from the East coupled with Storm Emma. It’s hard to believe that we are into March and we have snow, not to mention sub zero temperatures, blizzards, strong winds and snow drifting (now there’s a term that was new to many)!
The kids were never so happy to see snow and get a few days off but after a few days cabin fever set in and parents and children were delighted to get back to normality this morning.
The Lambe’s Oil team have been inundated with calls and online orders over the last few weeks. While families were out making memories and enjoying the picturesque snow, our determined staff have been working all hours and through some trying weather conditions to deliver home heating oil to our customers. Unfortunately, in the interest of health and safety, we did have to admit defeat for a while on Friday but our dedicated drivers were back in their trucks on Saturday and Sunday.
… more to come .. Fog, Frost, Ice, Subzero Temperatures
As we come out the other side of what was undoubtedly the worst weather to hit Ireland in recent years, we are all assessing the damage, from broken gutters, burst pipes and leaks. However, we are not in the clear as yet. As snow melts, there is a risk of flooding and Met Eireann have forecast fog, frost and ice with temperatures dropping as low as -4!!! Driving conditions are sure to be treacherous but we will continue to ensure all our customers are prepared for the next wave of bad weather.
If you have run dry or need to order a top up of Home Heating Oil you can do so by contacting Fiona, Peter, Rita or Suzanne on 0579321000 (8am -6pm), Order Oil Online or call into our forecourt in Cloncollig, Tullamore where you can bring a drum and fill at the pump – Drums also available to purchase.
Release the Beast The Lambe’s Got you Covered!!
